   I have been active in the real estate area for almost forty years, first as a broker, then as an attorney. At the University of San Francisco, where I obtained my law degree, I was a member of the Law Review and received an award for writing the best article of the year. The topic concerned the practice of dual agency (simultaneous representation of buyer and seller) by real estate agents. 

   I am currently licensed to practice law in Illinois and California and hold an active real estate broker license in Illinois. In addition, I am a member of the Illinois Real Estate Lawyers Association, the Chicago Bar Association and the Illinois State Bar Association.

   My legal practice encompasses representation of buyer and seller in real estate transactions, borrower defense in foreclosure litigation as well as negotiation with lenders on behalf of borrower / homeowners, condominium and landlord-tenant matters, joint ownership agreements, contract and boundry line disputes, and real estate agent issues.
